  There's been rumours of an attempted Scary Movie reboot for years now and I have absolute belief in my heart that this script started as one of those attempts. Just really underthought jokes and sloppy tone throughout. I'm disappointed that the gay writer and director could cook up funnier reads than the homophones trash the straight market was peddling in the 90s and 00s. If someone edits this down to a supercut of the incredibly believable performances from Lisa Kudrow and Ian Norris as the most suburban boomer couple it'll be a more enjoyable movie than the complete picture.

  This film ends with the world forgetting that Peter Parker, not Spider-Man, exists. He's shown as enrolled in the GED, as I guess in this re-written reality he didn't go to high school? So he's living as an undocumented citizen? Then how did he even enrol in the GED? John Favreau meets Peter at Aunt May's grave. So John Favreau still met and briefly dated this anonymous woman from Queens, despite the fact they originally met because Spider-Man is Peter…
