Control Freak 2025
Another take on the physical manifestation of mental illness. Not the best version of this story story but different enough that it warrants existing and watching. It's generally well acted an very well directed. The gore and body horror elements are good. There are a few glitches in the script and some sketchy CGI, but not anything you wouldn't expect in a streaming release. There are some weak points especially in the third act but I like the overall message and execution and of all the the mental health monster movies I think I relate to this protagonist the most.

This was a lot of fun. The right amount of nostalgia the right amount of camp. It feels like a group of friends got together and made a horror comedy and had a great time doing it. It's not for everyone. I don't think everyone will get the joke. But if you like 80s camp horror comedy it's a good time.
