Immaculate 2024
The cinematography was really well done and the plot was quite predictable but still enjoyable. Sydney Sweeney also crushed it.
Cannot stress enough how much we need 1hr 20-30min movies like this. Everyone seems to think they need to make it 2hr with a post credit scene. Keeping this shorter kept it moving faster and made it more intense.

Halloween II 1981
Actually a surprisingly fun sequel. The suspense was pretty good, some creative new kills, more Myers lore. Was, more or less, exactly what I hoped for from the sequel.
Dr. Loomis was overacting but it was kind of fun and campy. They did seem to mix up their own timeline in terms of how old the characters are but it's not so distracting. However, we're supposed to be rooting for Jimmy but he's a grown ass man creeping on a 17 year old, eww.
