Hawa 2022
Wonderful piece of film that suffers from trying to maintain middle ground.
One of two issues is the movie being 30 minutes too long for a thriller, 30 minutes too less for a character study. Another being the notion to introduce gore and violence without diving too deep into it.
Issues aside, fantastic acting from the entire crew. Cinematography giving a taste of Greig Fraser/Roger Deakins. Massive appreciation for the editing team and soundtrack.
Bangladesh movie industry finally in the right hands, going in the right direction.
