  i’m not sure how to feel, actors performances were amazing but there are aspects of the film i didn’t like, maybe a bit glamorised? misinformed? i feel like the actress who played amy was cast wrong, the singing felt dramatised but maybe not the best fit, talented none the less!!
  enjoyable watch but not for me :)

  “the things that girls do to fit in…”

  the pressures on high school girls to be something other than themselves for a slither of approval, is a main theme of this film, with other themes such as relationships and drug abuse.

  the subliminal messaging through this film is clever with implicit meanings reading events, emotions and actions

  i enjoyed this film lots but it’s a shame that it became a tiktok trend due to its nature and the films meaning
