I am a Jane Austen lover to my core, so this was just an absolute mockery to me.
Jane Austen’s work is the blueprint for modern romance, and her writing is so beautiful. This movie completely butchered that.
I haven’t read Persuasion, but I’ve read enough Austen to know that this movie is a poor reflection of her writing. I wish I could’ve been in the writers room and just tried to figure out what was going through their heads…

The Gray Man 2022
This sucked lol.
Cast was really good though! Dhanush deserved more screen time. Ryan Gosling fine asf. Chris Evans’ character was probably the only character who I truly enjoyed watching and who had some personality.
Action is pretty good, but there’s so much action that it gets repetitive and mind-numbingly boring. There’s too much action and not enough plot.
The weak plot itself is just BORING. Like I don’t know how else to describe it. I could barely get through it tbh it was so overwhelmingly mid. There are so many clichés that aren’t even done well.
