  I don't know if the tone got there. I think it thought it was funny, but it was kind of sad and off-putting! But the two lead actresses are great and I want nothing but the best for them

  Return to theaters. Too many fights that got a little repetitive, but the small moments are really fun! I feel like I should like Edgar Wright more than I do.

  A movie about this guy who is super into marriage as an event? Easily the most irritating, condescending main character I've seen in a long while.

  A fun genre movie elevated by the most overqualified cast imaginable. Chaiyya chaiyya opens the film with a jolt. Spike peppers the normal formula with observations about race (the turban scene!) and New York (he's from there!), but don't think about this too much - it's fun to watch stars coast on what makes them a star, and Denzel is magnificent. This kind of movie used to come out once a month, no?
