This is a film. Nothing in this film makes any sense whatsoever yet it is truly one of the greatest things I have ever witnessed. It was definately longer than it needed to be, but you can tell that the practical effects team had a lot of fun blowing stuff up. It serves as an excellent reminder that there are only nine countries in the world and the rest of the flags are just there.

The film is relatively slow-paced, however it is quite interesting to watch the slow unravelling of Olivier's obsession with Francis as more of the overall story becomes revealed to the audience. The camerawork being handheld and shaky throughout allows for more fluidity with movement, making it much easier for the intensity of the scene and the feelings of the characters to be matched by it whenever necessary. Overall, it was certainly an interesting film.

This is pretty much a film about how a married and mute woman will fall helplessly in love with a man who repeatedly sexually assaults her and holds her precious belongings hostage in exchange for ~'favours'~ for an extended period of time. This film is a lot. It is a whole lot. There is so much to take in here it's unbelievable. There is so much empathy and compassion going into this story, based off of the Osage Indian Murders.
