I did not read the description and that mysterious camera really grabs your attention. To my untrained eye, this feels like a great short form example of diverse yet complimentary filming techniques. I think I understand the title, but will need to confirm with the director. Or maybe it’s left to one’s own imagination.
Some would suggest watching something presidential on this day off. But nope, this has been on the list for a while and finally took advantage. I guess in what I’m hoping to be the last Deadpool/Wolverine, they bring out all the cameos. I don’t know if this is done to create some exposure for older titles that might generate some streaming activity, but for me it’s just the opposite. I don’t need to go back to those movies or for that matter any of the superhero movies.
That Christopher Nolan sure likes working with sound. I can see some people may lose the time frames somewhat, but the character aging and dialog was done so well it really took care of the need to show years as some films use to keep the audience aware of time jumps. This was the first in our Barbenheimer weekend and was a brilliant way to start the double feature.
And Kudos to Will Thomas for working on this one. I imagine it was a great learning experience.
Learned to ski at Alpine Meadows. Always heard the avalanche dynamiting if we arrived early enough. I just thought every ski area did that. Guess I was wrong.
I can’t think of any way they could have avoided the avalanche. There were several victims that could have been saved with precautions that would be in place today.
