Third Finger, Left Hand 1940
It seems like some version of this movie came out at least once a month in 1940. This version drags quite a bit for the first hour or so then has some good moments towards the end but I was already bored by that point. All of the actors put in a good effort at least, especially the usually forgettable Lee Bowman.

Down Argentine Way 1940
Starts off strong with a lot of good musical numbers but peters out a bit in the second half with more focus on the horse racing. Elevates above the fray via beautiful technicolor and a fantastic dance routine from the Nicholas Brothers.
