    I was surprised at how relevant this film was even though it’s been in production for a few years. But I guess that’s the problem with movies and TV shows that’s been coming out since 2016; everything is a reaction to Trump and his antics, with most being very cynical.
    What I believe sets Mickey 17 apart is its inherent idealism. Having watched Bong’s other films, this is his most idealistic and by that virtue, most American film yet.

    No disrespect to A Complete Unknown, which I’m sure will be objectively decent but I found myself disinterested in the concept of that film for the past few weeks. For starters, I’m quite sick and bored of conventional musician biopics and I feel that making Bob Dylan the subject of that type of film completely undermines the nature of the man himself.
