i wanted to LOVE this. a jane eyre adaptation with mia wasikowska and michael fassbender??? sign me up!!
sadly, the story felt a bit all over the place (i was so confused at the beginning by the time skips) and at times i couldn't decide if mia and michael had chemistry or not.
it was okay but i wanted it to be amazing.

this is just a silly, little movie!!! dare I say... campy!
no, but like, this movie is so fun. not the perfect movie ever but it's obvious it was made for fun and that they had fun doing it! and, I'm sorry- but for not being actors, the guys did pretty good (specially taylor hawkins (rip) and dave grohl, and not only bc I have a huge crush on them 😁👍🏻).
