  A much better thriller/horror than it had any right to be. Sure, this has been made for about tree fiddy and a pack of smokes but if you can see through that, it's actually a decent [redacted] tale. To say anything more would be a spoiler. Watch carefully, and the ending will not be confusing. In case of doubt, refer to the opening slide of the movie.

  A study in how to slowly corrupt a great movie until it becomes a total mess.

  This serial killer mystery begins perfectly: with truly amazing cinematography and an interesting premise (even if the hero and the set up are a bit cliché). There's just something in the air and while you don't have any illusions that it's going to be another Se7en, the movie seems to be of high enough quality and polish.

  And then with each minute it keeps…

  Denzel being Denzel in a movie not really about Denzel. Would be a decent forgettable thriller if it was not so constipated and ooh-so-serious, and filmed by a man who believes that shaky cam comes only in "extreme" and "ridiculous" flavors. So bad. So. Bad.
