The scene when young Leda comes back home, peels the orange for Martha and Bianca (I can imagine this moment as pure bliss for them), stands up, disassociates…..and leaves. Abandoning once more. God, I loved Leda in that (well lit, beautifully shot) orange-peeling moment; I felt compassion for her and I felt her love for her children too. Then of course, the shock of her leaving…
