A messy love letter to open relationships, sex work, and early 2000s Toronto (including Much Music, Sneaky Dee’s, Kensington market, Buddha’s vegetarian, and Emma Goldman). I missed my chance to see the Much Music documentary but this feels like an even wider shot of its later golden years.
Lots of sexy scenes and introspection on intimacy, but Andrea Werhun stands out with her cheeky wit and brings heart and poignancy to the film.
Love how scary old Disney can be. Nice anti-car message from Wind in the Willows too.
Annual rewatch. I can't believe it took me until 2024 to realize it’s riffing on The Grinch.
Finally watched this and it was barely coherent. Still love the fall spooky vibes tho.
