The Form served the Content very well.
Started with an Archplot purpose, But some Miniplot in between. And in the end, Antiplot!
The designs of the scenes were well done,

Being Close can be devastating sometimes…
these two 15yo boy’s performances were shocking.
And besides that, the use of color helped the vibe very much and it had a metaphorical use too.
Also the music was very effective and completed it to the perfection.
The subject of the story was a little close to "The Banshees of Inisherin" by Martin McDonagh, but of course with a different approach and message.

Just Amazing! Suspense was maintained until the last moment, Characters were written and developed intelligently and the relationship between them was pretty interesting. Satoshi Kon’s ability to combine reality and fantasy is also well seen in this work, where random and sometimes miraculous events naturally flow into the story. And like his other works, the animation was so pleasant to watch.
