The Lion in Winter 1968
Simultaneously hilarious and heart-breaking. Hepburn and O'Toole give fucking great performances, both subtle and bombastic. I can't imagine sympathising with Henry II, but here I am, doing just that. And the combination of Hepburn with Eleanor of Aquitaine is perfect. I couldn't keep from smiling for the entire film.
