Saltburn 2023
Two stars for the cast and Linus Sandgren’s work. This was so dumb top to bottom but still entertaining. Oliver’s hypersexuality wasn’t erotic nor edgy. It was mostly just cringy. Felt like all the sex scenes were meant to be shocking which is odd because they were incredibly tame? That vampire line was such an eye roll my god. The twist was only shocking because it didn’t make sense. Emerald Fennel was def inspired by like a tiktok edit of talented mr.ripley or something.
