love sophie thatcher. i enjoyed this premise, but it reminds me of one of my top books of last year, Annie Bot and while this movie was not based off that book, it’s eerily similar, yet did not live up to it for me. Idk. Maybe that’s unfair but i see this whole idea of feminist sex robot becoming a media trend and if you’re going to do it, it better be really good ig.

kathryn hahn is the only reason this was watchable. super uncomfortable watch during the last half. i didn’t super hate this but it was just …weird?? idk. using a sex worker to rekindle your marriage is weird. “saving” her to make yourself feel better. it could have been a smarter movie ig.

this was really sweet and normal. i love andrew garfield. he was super endearing in this. i love florence pugh even more, she played a very awesome complex role in this that i admired. overall, i love movies where it feels like not much happened, and this movie had that vibe.
