Uzumaki 2000
Very early 2000s and campy, but it balances out with some genuinely scary/gory moments. Every scene I didn’t know if I should expect something scary or campy, so it really kept me on my toes. I liked the Lovecraftian feel of the Spiral! The movie uses limited technological advances to its advantage, creating an eerie ambiance with its grainy footage and heavy use of filters. Will be watching again for sure. If you liked movies like “scream” and “die monster, die”; you’ll enjoy this.
