It’s not for everyone, but I found it to be a revelation. Refreshingly bold and beautiful and vulgar, a world I feel like I’ve never seen before, and a main character that is a captivating tour de force, ever-shifting and evolving through the film to intelligently reflect the chaos and horror and philosophy that unfolds around her. Many grim things happen, but some light and delicate moments, too. And plenty that are very funny.

Marvel just couldn't resist ruining a perfectly good movie with their usual Big CGI Monster battle, patronizing morals that hit you over the head, and forced jokes that didn't need to be there every 5 minutes.
Especially frustrating because there's a good movie in this, they just edited it out and jammed it into their usual formula.
