  When we speak of forgiveness, we often refer to bad acts, those that require the kindness of others to be salvaged. But what of those times where you chose nothing at all? The days where you decided you wanted to be another cog in the machine, because that’s easy, it’s comfortable, it’s what you know. I don’t blame you. But then, when you’re facing against death and your moments of mundanity have spiraled into an eternity of nothing. Will you forgive yourself? I don’t know the answer to that question. Some things are just out of our control, but there’s no harm in trying.

  The Assessment is a mess. And I mean that in the best way possible. While I may be biased since this is the first film i’ve actually seen at TIFF, I can’t deny the absolute rollercoaster of emotions this film sent me through. It’s hilarious, disgusting, depressing, exhilarating, and thrilling all at once.   Genuinely so depressing that this is bombing in the box office. Furiosa is funny, charming, stylish, and heartfelt wrapped up with some stellar performances from Anya Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth. I would love to see more from this world, it sucks that this might be the last we see of it.
