  last film before tonights bloodshed:
  very much a well written and acted script, even though it brushes over things as quickly as the actual secrecy of the Vatican, so i guess they get an A for accuracy.
  wish it was visually as strong, but otherwise its a good enough film that is more important in the  social discourse it could initiate….. AND  an option that would actually be a more controversial win than emilia perez …. if the oscars are trying to go for that.

  usually i would never watch a director’s last film as an introduction to their catalogue, especially such a well known name in italy. But this film’s reputation got the best of me and it’s interesting to view it knowing it was an artist’s last work and released after his death. analyzing such a controversial topic from the point of view of the villain makes this film even more disgusting and overall i think it deserves the title people have given…
