Fantastic, honest and hard hitting film. I really appreciated its portrayal of addiction and representation of deaf people.
I will be thinking about this one for a while, and hoping to learn how to sit, and write, and find peace within myself.

Seriously impressed by Jesse Eisenberg's writing here and was nailed on the head between him and Kieran.
I have been both these characters and been friends with both. I will say left the film wanting more, not because I think they didn't deliver but because the characters were so believable and relatable that I needed to see what happened next.
I want to hug both of them and tell them it will all be ok, but they know that, and…
This film looked beautiful, Lily Rose Depp suprised my with unabashed, physicality in her acting and Willem Dafoe was great as usual, swapping between silly and serious as the scenes demanded.
But, it left me wanting more, the climax (pun intended) was haunting and beautiful but didn't pack quite the punch I wanted after meandering through the middle 90 minutes.
