  bizarre for the first 15, funny if not neurotic and gay for the next hour, horrible ending. but worse than all of that is to call it a comedy it felt like the substance debacle all over again. bette midler. three and a half stars.

  the gayest thing i’ve seen. ever. and i’ve watched bottoms 5 times. entering this film with absolutely no context and the first thing you see being a black woman made me giggle. ~ “oh so that’s why they called it watermelon woman” ~ could’ve played on the parallels between the two a bit more but not bad. could be a great remake project. three and a half stars.
