story-wise this was a really faithful adaptation of the book, to the point i was tearing up from very early on because it took me back there. a lot of the scenes are a little uninteresting visually and definitely work better in a novel format, but for those who can’t quite get into reading, i think this is a great way to get to experience the story. i loved it!
i only really liked stowaway tbh. i don’t think i’ve ever watched an anthology movie before, but it largely left me feeling like novellas do, they are short and don’t really hit the mark for me because i always want more. that said, i think stowaway hit all the marks. big love for kate siegel and alanah pearce
