on a second watch (and not in the big screen), it kinda lacks a bit. it's definitely more sexual than i remembered, and mickey does a very good job. the kidnapping didn't make me laugh as much the second time. in general i felt a lot more uncomfortable considering i already knew how everything would turn out. almost like i was suffering for and with annie. the first time i exited the cinema on a cloud, in awe of the atmosphere, the storytelling and the character development. after the rewatch i just felt sad.

i have to say... this was a bit disappointimg for me. i liked the first part, the "ideal" of arts, architecture, and the "american dream". the second part, too "explainy" for me. sometimes it felt like we (the audience) were dumb and had to have everything explained.
