No but plot wise, the climax was, well, anticlimactic at best and disappointing at worst. Also someone on Reddit pointed out that the ring of light on top of that stone pillar resembles so much of the Pillar of Creation Nebula where stars are born so was it actually a portal to another life? new life? new civilization? place where they start everything from the beginning of time? We don't know.
