While the movie really is beautiful, and the final act is pretty entertaining, it doesn't really have a punch or a reason because they haven't sold the romance between the two characters like at all. The first part of the movie focuses so much on the mother, that it kinda forgets the daughter, and the reason for the whole plot really...
