  Great Moments in Cinematic History

  Absolute treat seeing this in 4K in a theater with my good buddy Oscar. Amazing color and costumes (De Niro looks fucking sick the whole time) and an absolutely loaded cast. Felt really well paced for a nearly 3 hour movie and I thought it hit its concepts/narratives through to the end. Had its dry spots of dialogue and some loose ends, but overall I left the theater very satisfied. While I don’t anticipate sitting down to watch it again any time soon, I can genuinely say I’m better off having seen this movie.

  So uh……that just happened…

  This feels like a marked step up from Swiss Army Man on basically all fronts. The creativity with writing and vision feels unique in a way that is exciting for a movie as popular as this has been this year. The action was pretty cool and I felt like the The Daniels' humor was not as heavy handed as I expected. However, this is all relative as I’m just appreciative that some of jokes connect characters…
