The Braid 2023
It is an emotional film, with a lot of female struggle, but I am still uncomfortable with the colonialist and extrativist look. All women suffer and struggle, but in the end the racialization and the use of resources and manipulation of countries with fewer resources and colonial pasts happens as something necessary and natural for women in western and rich countries. A bit disappointing whit this line of storytelling.
