  I went into this movie with no expectations because I didn’t watch the trailer nor had I heard anything by word of mouth. I was able to go in completely clueless and let the fantastical, strange, yet soothing story unfold upon me. It reminded me of some of my favorite films. It had the pacing of The Princess Bride, intricate and bright visuals like Pans Labyrinth, and the subtle, middle aged romance like Love, Actually.
