Usually when a film uses nostalgia to evoke emotions, people are justified in critiquing it. However in t2 trainspotting, nostalgia is the point of the movie, as it want you to reflect on your past, whichever it might be. Very underrated.

Trainspotting 1996
Perfect 5/5. Not a single unnecessary scene. Music choices are incredible. Directing, editing, acting, everything just works.

Poor Things 2023
If you want to see a movie that is pleasing to the eye, you found the right one. Camera movement is excellent and makes the conversions interesting, although the use of wide lenses is sometimes a little bit showy.
All the performances are good. Emma Stone manages to deliver an very captivating performance, that was probably very demanding on paper. Her eyes can captivate the excitement and the sadness that come with discovering life. Willem Dafoe is perfect in anything…Translated from by -
Kinds of Kindness 2024
Lanthimos and his screenwriter (Filippou) have a weird habit of making stories that on the one hand contain several themes, but on the other hand it feels like they don't always try to communicate what these themes are to the viewer. The three stories would have benefited if more time had been given to each. In the end, it came of a little underwhelming and kinda flat as a progression of feelings. I did like how the movie looked however and it was still an interesting watch.
