This week, I've come to the realization that Wong Kar-Wai is in my top ten, if not top five film directors of all time. All of his movies are just so hypnotizing and visceral. The Hobbit 1977
Been a minute since I've seen the Hobbit trilogy, but I can remember that the pacing throughout was not great. So seeing the whole book covered in less than 90 minutes is very refreshing. That being said, there are too many songs. Some of them are good, but Middle-earth needs to tone down their musical chops.

Watching Ghostlight made me realize that I should definitely consider taking more acting classes in the future. In my experience, it's just such a nice environment to be in, and how they're used in this movie as a way to heal and build community is just excellent.
