Good Will Hunting 1997
There are a couple of amazing monologues throughout the film, and the cast is star studded with fantastic performances from Matt Damon, Robin Williams, Ben Affleck and Stephen Skarsgard. I’m a sucker for good dialogue and there are so many quotable lines. Honestly, I have no complaints about this movie - it’s an American classic

Wicked 2024
Fantastic acting + musical numbers. Set design was also incredible, and the plot pretty much follows the musical’s. However, it felt way too long - could barely get through the last 30 minutes. I don’t feel like any parts dragged but maybe they should’ve cut the movie earlier? Regardless, 2 hours 40 for a part 1 is a bit questionable.
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are both amazing in the lead roles. I was a bit underwhelmed by Jeff Goldblum - but that’s because I’ve come to expect more vivacious performances out of him.

Gladiator II 2024
Denzel is goated and carries the film. The set pieces are incredible, all the coliseum scenes are amazing. Paul Mescal does a great job as well, but he’s no Russell Crowe. I think the story overall isn’t as good as the first movie, there’s a couple of plot lines and at some point felt Denzel was much more compelling than Mescal. Still, a great movie and would rewatch
