Women Talking 2022
I’ve always been a big fan of Sarah Polley. This movie ( based on real time events in a Mennonite community) showed that she is a great director. The confusion, anger, uncertainty, fear of unknown among severely oppressed women were shown well through their painful discussion. Acting against your faith and everything else you were taught all your life are not easy decisions even though the teaching is against your freedom. Colorless shooting of the movie was clever to set…
