Other than this winning awards, I’d only heard negative things about this due to its depiction of the trans community, and of Mexico.
I will say, I didn’t find the depiction of the trans community problematic, the character of Emilia isn’t a good person, but that doesn’t mean that it tarnishes the LGBTIQA+ community with a bad brush.
