  I really enjoyed Black Death. Sean Bean is on a witch hunt during an outbreak of plague. Set during the dark ages, and it looks beautiful. A few lines of dialog seem anachronistic but that aside, everything was top notch.
  Worth seeking this out.

  Green Room 2015

  This was my most highly anticipated film for the year. Saulnier has cemented his place as one of my favorite directors with this tale. The plot is simple, but the characters are so nuanced and feel like real people. The characters are what makes the film so compelling. The straight-forward story gives the characters room to really shine, and the actors all do a really wonderful job carrying the film. The violence in Saulnier's films always has an emotional impact, pulling the viewer in deeper. This film is awesome.
