Memoir of a Snail 2024
I often cry at animated movies, but it’s generally not because of the breathtaking all consuming beauty. I havnt felt this way when watching an animated film since I watch fantastic Mr Fox or spirited away for the first time. It depicts grief in its ups and downs without falling into a spiral *pun intended* of negativity with no joy. Grace shows all of us the imperfection of life and an intertwining narrative of obsession and healing.
