I have seen this movie at least 50 times. Anything you still laugh at, and dance to, after that many times is quite remarkable. I can’t explain how great my love for the opening song (we are family), the outrageous drag numbers, Robin Williams (no explanation needed), Nathan Lane’s walk through South Beach for the cake (to my piglet from his auntie otter), the redecoration (believe me, it’s what they read), every line said by Gene Hackman (Bridget, I could really use some candy), and of course, the dinner itself (lots more ice for you!) I quote this movie way too much. It’s simply iconic.
