The Brutalist 2024
It captured the immigrant experience quite well, more specifically the Hungarian/Jewish and Eastern European - the small Pennsylvanian towns reminded me of the stories I’d hear from distant relatives about people who had established careers but due to war and political upheaval had to go to the U.S to shine shoes, work in the mines and factories to work hard and not complain.
