This one was a bit out of my cinematic comfort zone, and while I thought it was pretty well done, I can’t say I wasn’t a bit unsettled by watching a giant rotting corpse turned vampire demon court Lily-Rose Depp. Good Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Willem Dafoe content though!

Arguably my favorite Romantic Comedy of all-time. I have a weirdly deep connection to this movie. I don’t know why I just really love the chemistry that Adam and Emma have. It’s like everything I’d want in a relationship. I’d like to think Netflix saw this film and said to themselves…”This…this is the future of our cinema!”
It fits so perfectly into the sub genre of B level action film making with a relatively low budget yet recognizable cast, mid level CGI, and a pretty easily digestible plot sequence.
