  Quite possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen exclusively because of the writing. The actresses did a great job at developing their characters to be well-rounded and someone the audience could relate to so I have to give them credit, but the writing was so bad the movie didn’t have a fighting chance at being good.

  I was expecting this to be a silly goofy movie but it actually made me cry. It was a beautiful story about how trauma can affect the core of a human when not properly dealt with and how it completely twists the perspective of love and relationships. The ending reminded me of the feeling I had watching Midsommar. Maybe I’m reading too much into this movie, but I loved it and it’s an instant classic for me.

  Using Dracula and his familiar was an incredibly impactful way to portray the power a victim feels their abuser holds over them, and extremely accurate. Parts of the ending were a little too direct, but it was overall very cathartic. I even enjoyed Awkwafina, that’s how good this movie was. Quite possibly my favorite comedy movie.
