incredibly unique and interesting, genre-bending in a way i haven’t seen before. loved everything about pattinson’s performance. however, the politics of this movie just felt *off* and i realized why- it was made for a world in which we were not living in a facist america at the time of the movie’s release. everything said to/about mark ruffalo’s character doesn’t make sense in a 2025 where right wing politics is still so dominant.
