And the question about re-inventing keeps spinning in my head. She runs away recklessly. But things she does clearly indicates her complex sides. She steals but feels obliged to be honest, to others or to herself. The shots tell so much about her internal world. And the group of others whose stories are unsung. Many scenes hit me. The NY bus and streets take me back to New York, which I miss in agony. The overall message about "how the hope turns into despair" is pessimistic but the story is surely reflective of the reality in which individuals sink into the helpless situation and get trapped in such mentality after failed attempts.
