Does the plot make sense? Not unless you remember the timeline of the Berlin Wall coming down, and have a general understanding of Cold War dynamics. Is the plot important? Absolutely not.
I saw this movie in 2017 when it came out, and it is still without a doubt the best action movie I’ve seen. There are female characters, they talk to each other. They use high heels to take out 250 lb men.
