#1 - Watch a film from the CC40 box set
Watched - 24/52Wonderfully optimistic and also very sad. I enjoyed some of the shot selection in the first part of the movie, the cinematography showing off the skyline of Washington DC.
Our protagonist, Chance or as he was also called Chauncey, is played wonderfully by the late, great Peter Sellers. He is a man who is thrusted into the world after his "guardian" who he has…

The Alto Knights 2025
This needed much better care when it came to the editing. Several scenes just droned on for longer than they needed to and the dialogue was nothing you haven't seen before in a mob movie. Sheryl Lee, the actress who plays Laura Palmer, is seriously good. The movie makes her story significantly sadder. More grit than the TV series. Great cameos including a memorable one by one of the best character actors of all time, Harry Dean Stanton.
Supremely surreal and haunting. Every part of this film is extremely well done, especially the nightmare sequences. The soundtrack is dark and twisted. Fills in the blanks from the show.

Laura, you deserved much better.

I also detected a little bit of Black Christmas, and The Crow perhaps?…
