  high hopes low returns don’t need to watch!!

  
  the 1st & 2nd act was beautiful crafted i was totally captivated by the slow indie documentary style accompanied by the rich cultures of thailand. (my friends complained about the slow pacing but i personally love this style). but all these built up to nothing!! the ritual scene just became a cannibalistic mess which seems as if the filmmakers didnt have enough time to round up the story with a logical explanation and hence the gore & jumpscare porn.

  a substantial thriller & well done script that kept me at the edge of my seat at some points and many moments where i genuinely felt terrified. lukewarm character development & backstories which felt extremely wasted which left a bitter taste of my tongue (ayy). alright attempt on the social class commentary (but too bad i watched this after triangle of sadness, should have chosen an earlier release date!!) but do they really deserved what happened?

  & really kudos to the kitchen staff ensemble. i 100% believed that they live and work in the kitchen
