Looks pretty. The story is just alright, but that's just alright because I don't think that was the point. It seems more like an experiment in visuals and musical-ness :)
Oh and Cassard had more chemistry with the mum :/ The movie lost two stars when he fumbled her.
Overall, meh with a smile.

Very artistic, very mindful, very demure. Jokes aside, (though it actually is all those things) I watched it because of the "shish milyaar?!" scene and because it's in Persian and I want to reconnect with my heritage. It was a good movie. Lots to think about from a performance studies perspective! Ok bye.

The most beautiful thing movie I've ever seen, probably. I loved every bit of it. It was simply beautiful. The 1970s aesthetic, the 4:3 aspect ratio, the soundtrack, the story, the camera work. All of it, really. I love the way these unlikely friends come together and fill the void in each other's hearts. I love how Angus is portrayed and I can really identify with him. Thank you, Ayesha for another wonderful recommendation. Cheers!

Another one of Ayesha's recommendations. Not really my favourite. I found it a little dull. I felt inclined to raise my opinion of it when I thought it might be a good analogy for something, but I'm not sure what it could be an analogy for. At least not yet. I did *not* like the camera work and just the look of the film. The story was alright but I guess it's not my type. Cheers.
