  it was as if éric rohmer was palestinian..

  genuinely one of the most gorgeously shot films i’ve seen in a while, grasping the beauty of palestine’s gaza in ways me-myself couldn’t even think of. i was genuinely smiling during most of its runtime because of how charming and adorable it was, yet, it still wasn’t safe from the israeli tyrany being portrayed in a very subtle non-forced way as well. the ending tho!!! i love love this film, and if it wasn’t for some pacing problems, it would’ve been easily a perfect film for me.
